Ready to Start9 viewsGetting ready to cut the first 4x8 sheet of MDF.

A few cuts later3 viewsThe big cuts were done with a table saw, and a jigsaw took care of the rest.

First side cut out19 viewsHere's me standing next to the first side.

Sanding both sides together4 viewsOnce you get both sides cut out, stack them on top of each other, clamp them, and sand their edges at the same time. This way you will get sides that match up very well.

End of day 17 viewsThese are the pieces we got cut out by the end of day 1. Expect the process to take longer than it should, since it will... at least the first time. And I even had a skilled woodworker (my brother-in-law) helping.

Sides attached to bottom9 viewsDo your best to get things level in these early stages. Screw-ups here can cost you later.

Bottom of cabinet7 viewsHeres the bottom of the cab. I didn't put on casters since I rarely move it, and if I do, I just pull it away from the wall a bit, and I have an appliance cart anyway. The cart was $70 at Menard's, and if you don't have one yet, GET ONE. Not only will it make this project infinitely easier, but you will use it many other times as well.

Using a Pipe Clamp8 viewsWe are installing the roof of the cab, and pipe clamps come in very handy here.

Using an angle finder14 viewsI highly recommend using an angle finder for your project. It is very helpful in setting up a mitre saw to the correct angle for certain cuts.

Marquee area6 viewsDon't forget your marquee! Make sure you leave room for it to be added to the front, and leave room in the roof to mount the flourescent light. Having offsets makes it look nicer, and helps with cutting the T-molding slot as well.

2x8 supports11 viewsWe put 2 2x8s in the floor. It makes it very sturdy, but it also adds considerable weight.

Looking like a cabinet12 viewsI think this might have been the end of day two. Progress really picks up once you get into it.
